The Epsilon Eridani system is one of the solar systems nearest to us that has A) a possible planet and B) is more likely to have a planet that can sustain life… a 3% chance, that is.
It is about 10 1/2 light years away, so if we could travel at the speed of light, we could get there in 10 1/2 years! Let’s get on that, right?
The possible gas giant that was detected orbiting Epsilon Eridani is creatively called Epsilon Eridani B, so that’s why here, I just call it “Planet B”. Sounds like a great title for a B movie.

There are also two asteroid belts that orbit Epsilon Eridani.

it would be more of a relief to have another planet to fall back on, as it were, if we couldn’t be totally certain that we’d just go destroy that one next…sometimes i lose faith in mankind and our worthiness of planet earth. most of the time, really – even our best environmental efforts are pretty paltry. therefore, escapism is the bomb!
Well, this isn’t an environmentalism morality tale… though I am a fan of nature, as will become very evident!
I think that Delphinium is the purple one
So when are auditions for Lint – The Movie?
And is Reason going to meet Wall-E?
Does the spaceship break??!
you are a good green girl, colby purcell! but i don’t mean to comment so much about this story of yours – more about man’s search for a fallback planet, in general, as the point is raised here. buzz aldrin’s a bigger hero in the public eye than al gore – *this* is my quarrel with the people!
I love how the Quarklium Drive controls look like a child’s toy xD that one where you push colored beads along colored wire tracks?
But that moment of amusement aside… yay space!
Haha, it totally does!
Ah! New page! <3 *happy dance*
The Lint fanfiction is still coming-along. Now that the main characters romped-about chasing other main characters, I get to introduce… Goblin-politics!
Quarks! =D Yay! Sorry, my dad’s a science teacher, and thanks to him and my other science teachers I’ve heard a bunch about them. XD
Yay for science!
complicatedness always makes the story more sturdy.
I like that you know so much about space. ^^ It’s very interesting to know these things are based on fact and real scientific theory and such. Btw, the box he’s reaching into looks kind of like it’s made of wood, which lends to my original feeling that this is set a bit farther back in time than present-day. What is the time period of this comic?
