The End

Hey Ever’body!

Here’s the thrilling The End Page. Wow, it’s like a 3rd grader drew it or something!

I have a bazillion bukoos of news, here’s to hoping I can remember everything.

FIRST: Here’s that podcast you ordered. Me and Ron talking about everything Lint-related and answering most of your questions. We actually did this on December 23rd, so it’s slightly dated. Some things I left unanswered, because of future Lint possibilities.

SECOND: I got inspired and finished putting Lint into print! I looked into a lot of options, and found that I couldn’t get the same level of quality for any less (at least, not that I found), so I went ahead and finished out the volumes at Lulu. Now available, Lint Vol. 5 and Lint Vol. 6!

THIRD: Lint and my future comic endeavors have just been accepted into the SpiderForest collective~ Buncha great people, over there, I tells ya.

FOURTH: Speaking of future comic endeavors, what about my next work, eh!? Well, it’s titled “Pygmalion in Space” and here it is in embryonic form. Frumph will be creating the site, so you can watch it be built from the ground up (and an fyi; he hasn’t touched it yet. All that nastiness is my own horrible handiwork). In fact, probably everything will change before it actually starts, but now you can watch it evolve until opening day, which, if nothing hitches, should be later this month.

FIFTH: The Comic Creator’s Alliance will start taking donations to stop Human Trafficking on January 11th! This concerns you because… well… human trafficking is bad, and PLUS if you donate you get a nifty wallpaper with art from a ton of webcomic artists, including myself.

SIXTH: Is something I forgot!

Anyway, Thanks for reading, thanks for being around and for all the support. See you soon!

Love,

Colby

Extra Blog Postings:

Superstar of Sleep

Wow, I barely made it getting this out today, but here it is! I enjoyed the making of this one. Good stuff. AND, I managed to get it out despite having to reformat my hard drive and wrestling with my computer for hours and hours and hours until I finally got it fairly workable for now. Plus I had a virus… the REAL kind. Everything conspired, but we persevered. Kinda.

Speaking of my computer which has been a decent computer yet is aged beyond reason: There’s less than a week left in the whole fundraising process for some technology that doesn’t threaten to die on me, and I don’t know if we’ll get to the goal, but that’d be really nice if we did! By the way, there are two people tied for the biggest donation, so if you’re shooting for it, I recommend adding a paltry amount to it, like an extra two cents, to assure your spot on top. ALSO: A huge thank you to all those who have donated so generously!

Despite dying computers and the stomach flu, Christmas was awesome anyway, hope yours was great too. I recieved a few snazzy pieces of fanart this week for Christmas. The first is another in the series of Lint dudes playing instruments by Lady Nilstria, and this time it’s Al’bert’s turn. He would so play the trumpet. The other comes from Jennifer Mitchell, who got some new pens for Christmas and decided to draw the Lint crew. Looks like they’re about to ambush Hope and make her an ornament on that Christmas tree. Thanks, guys!

Anyway, I’d better stop babbling and get some sleep, so thanks for reading!

Vote Incentive Is Up

The vote incentive is up, but it’s really sketchy and totally crappy looking so here are a few other things for you to look at too: A pseudo-wallpaper of Fang, and some sketches of Zedwig and Hope looking mildly uncomfortable. I hope you all have a great Christmas!

In the House

A little later than I’ve recently liked to be with this one, but everybody everywhere is sick right now, and that unfortunately includes me. Fortunately I’m on the upslope, and everything will be hunky dory in a few days.

Christmas is also in a few days so I will be taking off the next update, but will be updating on Friday, December 26th. I’m getting hooked on a faster story pace, but man I love Christmas. Fun times will be had by all!

Here is a lovely fanart by LNilstria of Fang playing a musical instrument that doesn’t seem, at first glance, to suit him, until you look at it for a while and realize… oh yeah… it really does:

Fang’s so creepy. You might remember Zedwig with a violin from previous. Thank you LNilstria!! Now I feel even more anxious about getting my fanart page together.

Lastly, if you like Lint, please consider donating! I’m not sure if I’ll make my goal, but maybe things will pick up near the end!

Thanks for reading, and Happy Birthday Melissa!

EDIT: Lo and behold, I DID work on my fanart page! If anything is missing or wrong, please please please tell me!

Some of you might be unhappy to find there is indeed a scene change. Yes, I intend to leave you hanging. Will Al’bert die heroically? Will he live to recount the story in a hilariously augmented fashion later? Who knows! (except me)

Per Sempre

Well, I didn’t get anything done this weekend I wanted to, but hey, as long as I get to update regularly I’m pretty happy. Hopefully you’re pretty happy, too.

Speaking of happy, do you have any idea how long I’ve waited for the chance to make Al’bert say “En garde”? Probably not! Payoff can be sweet.

Also, I should never mess with my wordpress files; this time I accidentally deleted half of my plugins, so that’s why the Tag Cloud is gone. I don’t think you guys were all that attached to that thing anyway.

I don’t have much else to add, except my fanart page is an embarrassment. Bear with me a bit longer, I’ll get it cranking and up to date soon! Thanks for reading!

Back to our regularly scheduled non-making-out-ness.

Angles

There you have it, ambush. Kind of too tired to think tonight, so here are a few random Lint-related doodles, and I don’t think I’ve got anything else, although I might and just can’t remember. Regardless, I am in a daze.

Still, thanks for reading, as always!

Will hopefully be working on that fanart page this weekend, and possibly getting some Illusionist’s Apprentice up, too.

And I hope I’m not confusing everybody with these constant scene changes. It’s like dominoes… I have to set them up before I can knock them all over, and it’s a laborious process!

Clair de Lune

So, how much is Sangwine going to have to sacrifice in order to oust Fang? How much until it’s not worth it anymore? Maybe he’ll out-angst Fang yet.

I worked on my site a bit in between getting comics made and now I have a rudimentary cast page up, and the beginnings of a chapter synopsis area, for those of you without the time to read through a bazillion pages to get up to speed on Lint. I’m certainly familiar with that feeling! You guys let me know if I forgot someone important on the cast page. It’s very possible with my brain to do so.

Hey, check out this comic I found and find delightful! It’s been around forever, so all of you probably read it already and are right now thinking how I’m so behind the times, but there it is anyway. Nothin’ better than a bunch of Romans. Warning, there’s classical style statue’s bum on the front page. If you can handle looking at the statue of David from behind, you can handle this.

Lastly, if you’re feeling generous, please donate towards my technological cause! I did a bunch of research and decided to build my own… if you’ve ever done it, send me advice. I used to do some rebuilding, but about the time I quit having time to do such a thing was when I started comic making! Lint, you’ve made me less geeky in one way, but far more geeky in another! I’ve studied up and it looks pretty easy, although Ron says I have a natural knack for working with computers.

Thanks for reading guys, have a great week!

I almost forgot to put this up, oops, so you get a little less rough than usual preview, plus three panels for the price of two!
