Colby is a little busy at the moment taking care of house repair duties for the buyer and I am currently upgrading her software on her website.

To which I have some good news and bad news. The old database doesn’t work with the new versions of the sofware so all the blog posts are gone as well as the pages for fan-art, about and cast. The good news is that Colby is going to redo them! Found the about page and fan-art page! <– just need to find the images for them =)

Please hold tight and be patient with us please. Some of the new features include enhanced archive navigation and all the new features comicpress and the new wordpress has to offer! ( & as you see i’ve fixed a bunch of the page layout design /cough/ problems it had before ).

Lint will resume again shortly and all the previous features will be added in due time. Thanks for understanding.

No, really. It’s true. You know when you jump in one of those pits full of colored plastic balls and for a second you’re totally disoriented and colors are everywhere and you’re like, hey, what’s going on? Take that sensation, then add the sensation you have after being hit in the head with a 2×4 and that’d be how I feel right now. It’s not necessarily horrific, but disorienting beyond all reason.

In good news, the kind wonderful Frumph swooped upon me this week and turned my site into something that actually functions properly! There are still some hitches (as there are wont to be), and possible errors in the archives (including spelling errors I once fixed but got lost). But these will be fixed up in no time, including all the missing images in the fanart page. Please be my beta testers and inform me of bugs and problems you find, and I’ll be grateful!

The bad news is I’ve lost all of your fantastic and often hilarious comments. I am in some serious mourning. Another “bad news” item is that I lost all of my previous blog posts. I use quotes because mostly all I did was whine anyway, so I think the world is now a little brighter.

But the good news is: my site is fixed. Do I even need to tell any of you what a webcomic artist’s dream it is to have a coder come fix up your site for you? No, I don’t think I do. Check out the swanky navigation! It’s like I upgraded to a newer model!

Okay, I’m going to probably spend the next couple weeks in a state of confusion so I’ll just end this post here. With some more Fromage.

Aaaaaand, it’s a preview of a wallpaper of Hope I’m working on, maybe offering a bit of insight into how I do my flesh tones. Then again, she’s looking awfully purple, and I’ll probably tone it down a little. She just brings out the pink and purple in me, and I don’t know why!

It’s really amazing, but I managed to get all of my archive titles recovered… all except 8. It was some real detective work, let me tell you. I had to search the old Disqus data, old emails, trashed emails, and old html files I had on my hard drive. Fortunately I found almost all of them, but unfortunately those last eight titles are lost… lost! Unless any of you brainiacs out there either A) remember the titles for specific comics or B) have emails with comments from those comics (which would tell the title). If, perchance, any of you have them, I’d be tickled pink to get them back. The pages I’m missing titles for are: #320, #319, #301, #300, #287, #285, #284, #282. A good search in your gmail for those is “wordpress comment”. At least, that’s what I used.

I’d just rewrite them, but I’m not nearly as clever with titles when I have to mass-produce them after-the-fact.

In other news, I’m moving next week! Arrrrrrrrgh!!!! Didn’t I say the last time I moved that I’m never moving again? Famous last words, I tell you. I say it every time. Well, THIS time, I’m NOT SAYING IT. I’m just thinking it really hard. Still, I’m looking forward to the move, but I won’t be updating during that time. Once I get settled in though, knowing myself as I do, I’ll be pumping them out like I always do. I’ll go ahead and say the next update after this next one won’t be out for two weeks, to give myself lots of time. I seriously doubt it’ll be much more than a week because I’m a freak who loves me some comic making, but I do have to get my computer back from the moving company and have it working properly in order to do anything, and that probably won’t occur until the weekend after this coming one. Okay, too many boring details, I’m moving on.

Look! It’s an awesome fanart of Zedwig by Erulisse! She just keeps getting better and better. I say keep an eye out on this girl; she’s going to be blowing us all away one day.

I mean, seriously. It just HAD to happen. Bad news, though! This is my last page until I am a resident of Texas, waaaah! In fact, tomorrow I will have no internet at all.

Oh, fair internet! Alas, how I hath loved thee!

I’m not sure what I’m going to do without the ability to check my email fifty billion times a day. Probably live a normal life. I’m going to give myself a broad cushion and say I won’t update again until October 10th. But… I’m super into the next page so maybe it’ll be sooner. Just cross your fingers those mover guys don’t crush my computer on the way down, cause that would be the pits (AND cause a big hitch in just about everything Lint-related).

How’s the move been, you ask? Great. Everything’s been great. EXCEPT the movers broke my scanner, my Wacom stylus is missing, and I just barely got internet service after a number of struggles with ineptitude. I’m nearly going nuts with the inability to draw/scan/paint.

But there is a silver lining, and it’s realllllllly shiny! For one thing, okay… I do love Texas. The move has been awesome in every way except the near-supernatural predilection to destroy any means for me to pursue my favorite hobby. BUT the awesome thing is I now get a) a shiny new scanner/printer/copier combo, and b) an upgraded tablet. Oh, YES. 6×8 Intuos3, here I come.

Tablet won’t get here until next week, so no pages will be possible until after that happens, but I will have my scanner in time to give you guys a sketchy preview this Friday. Looks like Geeves wins the minor supporting character popularity contest, and that’s good because he’s in the next page doing cool Geeves-like stuff!

Preview of new comic for you, new scanner for me. New tablet won’t arrive until next week, so new page will still be a while in coming :(  Traditional media is starting to look reallllllllllly attractive right about now. I’ve been seriously eyeing those Prismacolor pencils.

1) I’ve put up the rest of Fromage, because (drumroll!) NaNoWriMo starts in a few weeks and you totally know I’ll be writing a new novel for how can I resist. So Chapters 21-43 are now up for reading, and enjoy! Actually, I require all of you to read it, so you can get the full characterization of those crazy people who are in my comic, and they are kind of crazy yes.

2) Lint Volume 5 is coming!

3) Lulu is raising their prices! Augh!! So if you’ve ever wanted to buy Lint books now would be the time, because they’ll stay at these prices only until October 28th.

4) I’m abandoning the voting arena, although I’ve only had good experiences; It’s just a little more than I want to keep up with right now. Also, after I noticed a comic called “PronQuest” is #4 on the list I became pretty sure it’s something I don’t want to be associated with anymore. Regardless, thanks for all the votes, guys, you’re the best! I’ll keep this one up until I update the next page for the benefit of those who want to see the comic preview.
