They're bound uncomfortably together. As time wears on, their bond grows stronger. They both were stuck in place else they would have moved away from the vines. I'm gonna say the picture represents their bond through the earrings that Fang put on Zed.

I use livestream and their free screencapturing software Procaster to reccord drawing sessions. Mine are kinda boring though :p Of course you can nab the video file and edit it later if you like, speed it up, add music etc. I use Windows Movie Maker for that. Not the most efficient, but I can't afford anything better. It does the job.

Yeah–it's so much darker; I wonder if it's just the shading of the light, or if it's like their hair has developed into that shading. Fang's blond hair has faded in its bright glory to a rusty shade full of dirt and grime, while Zedwig's hair is darker, not so much bright silver and white as tinging on black with its hint of power and dominance. This could fit well into their 'exile' together, where Fang is all tangled up, and Zedwig is in control, and half punishing himself as well. The specks of blood are really what draws my attention in details…
