No, they’re not dressed up as anything but themselves… so is this a proper Halloween picture? I don’t know, but vines have always creeped me out; any kind of vine, with the way they grow all over everything in their creepy slow reaching way. Guh!

Plus! It’s another weird Fang/Zedwig picture that is not easily deciphered! I had a creative explosion last night, and this came out.

Well, it was fun to paint. I tried to do one of those nifty make a video of your art process things, but it didn’t come out :(   If any of you have tips on the technical aspects of making one, let me know.

Fanart to come tomorrow, when I’m not getting dragged away.

    They're bound together uncomfortably. Through time and the inability to walk away from that which binds them. Is that what the picture's supposed to depict?
  • I use livestream and their free screencapturing software Procaster to reccord drawing sessions. Mine are kinda boring though :p Of course you can nab the video file and edit it later if you like, speed it up, add music etc. I use Windows Movie Maker for that. Not the most efficient, but I can't afford anything better. It does the job.

    This pic is so menacing and awesome and the colouring looks really pro. Nice job.

    Yeah--it's so much darker; I wonder if it's just the shading of the light, or if it's like their hair has developed into that shading. Fang's blond hair has faded in its bright glory to a rusty shade full of dirt and grime, while Zedwig's hair is darker, not so much bright silver and white as tinging on black with its hint of power and dominance. This could fit well into their 'exile' together, where Fang is all tangled up, and Zedwig is in control, and half punishing himself as well. The specks of blood are really what draws my attention in details...
