The extra time you've been taking definitely shows. I think this is my favorite of the epilogue pages so far.

That evil look on Hope's face is so perfect. Poor Xylic, having to learn the ins-and-outs of royalty, he'll get it right one day.

And now, alas, we know how many more pages we have to look forward to! Gogo Colby!! You've done an amazing job so far, and I know we're all anxiously awaiting the denouement of this little adventure. :]

awesome! i guess we'll still find out whether they hook up or not if xylic is to be part of the next novel – and YAY for another lint novel! that is so exciting! it would be awesome for sang & xylic to bond and feel less alone in the world.

This page is pure love. The expressions, the hair, the actual content, everything. It made me laugh *and* go AWWWW.

For some reason, Hope's expression in the last panel reminds me of Eva Green in… virtually anything, actually. The slightly malevolent smirk suits her.

not to jump down your throat </jumping> but i feel like you are jumping to conclusions here – if you're referring to sangwine and xylic's feelings over bactine? it's been three months, according to comic #426 – and i don't think sangwine is over it at all. though i agree, xylic looks a bit distracted by all the other things going on now around him. but…i would wait until the nanowrimo novel comes out to see how these two took it and how they move on – i really hope sangwine can move on. if you've read colby's other written works, you know she offers a lot more detail there than you can get in the graphic novel. as far as these pages go, though, we know sangwine misses her badly, he knows this is a dream, and he is relishing his time with her. these scenes are sweet – he's got one more chance to converse with her and he's answering her questions instead of just pressing himself on her…no?

anyway, nanowrimo month is november, so when the comic's over, we'll still have dessert!

No ~ Fang has green eyes. So does Ellinya. Although blue eyes are a mark of having fairy blood and is actually very rare along with blond hair, it probably isn't noticeable since there's always a blue-eyed blond-haired person or two on every page since half of my main characters are elven royalty, nobility, or fairies.
