I had a sense of the surreal, too, when we got to that last panel–

But yes, something strange is going on here–I'm looking at you, Colby…this is definitely more than some ordinary dream; Sangwine probably thinks it's normal, maybe he dreams about Bactine all the time and talking to her like this–he's more heavily involved in what's going on than Bactine is. Bactine…is a little bit distant–she's not really there, in that moment, or at least I think–maybe it's part of the 'angelic' aspect, being out-of-this-earth, but there's something a little strange there. And I have the idea that this manifestation means something, in terms of what happens after this…

But … isn't the whole premise of this “dream” emotional? That's some interesting information there, but Colby doesn't seem to usually go that deep w/ the comic … maybe I've missed a very large undercurrent, though, LOL. Cool research!

I’m confused. Why did they change clothes. Wait… they weren’t… Naw. Um… Anyway, I guess it’s just dreamish. And don’t nobody forget that Sangwine’s little amulet thing glowed when he started dreaming on the last page or so.
