Maybe it's like how the settings in dreams often reflect what's going on at the front stage at any given moment. Bactine asks about being a king, and they're in the king's study. But then they discuss scouts and searches, and they're outdoors, and at a place where they've got a good vantage point of the land.

well… acording to the elfpedia, their dreams tend to lack of some action and emotion and… you know, no tv that times, oh well, despite the greeting poke I could say that she is not the Bactine of always, practically look already bored in the end

But … isn't the whole premise of this “dream” emotional? That's some interesting information there, but Colby doesn't seem to usually go that deep w/ the comic … maybe I've missed a very large undercurrent, though, LOL. Cool research!

But yes, something strange is going on here–I'm looking at you, Colby…this is definitely more than some ordinary dream; Sangwine probably thinks it's normal, maybe he dreams about Bactine all the time and talking to her like this–he's more heavily involved in what's going on than Bactine is. Bactine…is a little bit distant–she's not really there, in that moment, or at least I think–maybe it's part of the 'angelic' aspect, being out-of-this-earth, but there's something a little strange there. And I have the idea that this manifestation means something, in terms of what happens after this…
