CHAPTER 16: THE LONG SLEEP

Finished this early, and I’ve also got the script all written for the last chapter. I am, however, not going to get a head start on the next page because I’m going to hide in the mountains for the rest of this week. Expect the next page on Tuesday, though.

    The first thing I noticed is that her ear is hidden. O___o ZOMG!
    She needs to live and change races. Somehow. Perfect ending! XD

    Okay, first, I think something has to happen with that necklace that Sang has been wearing. What that may be, I'm not sure. Maybe he can use it to heal Bac, I don't know.

    Secondly, Bactine isn't the one sleeping in the picture, it's Sang that's sleeping. So I can only assume that "The Long Sleep" is referring to.... Sang!

    Make this chapter a long one! I'd hate to see it end.. :(

    Are you not in the new tgt voting bracket?
  • I think so... at least when I checked it last Lint was holding with about 65% of the vote, but that was on Wednesday. What they're doing now is a revote on a bracket that tied. I guess later we'll see the results.

    I wasn't expecting there to be another chapter! I was so sure Bactine was going to live but now I'm starting to worry about her fate. Especially because she seems to be glowing and floating in the cosmos in this page...

    I really hope she lives now. I was okay with her dying at first, but seeing this cover makes me want a rediculously happy ending. Right. Now.

    I love that the divider for the page is the ribbon. And I hate (and love) that this great story is almost over.

    It's so beautiful, and yet it's so sad...*please* let 'The Long Sleep' just be Bactine's 'fake' death that she'll be waking up from, like a Sleeping Beauty, and not just the Long Sleep of Death that has Sangwine dreaming that she'll come again...to say good-bye like an angel! (Wah....)

    I kinda expected things would turn out that way. I never forgot about that fortune teller's ominous prediction but I was pretty positive you wouldn't let someone die, no happy ending :) I have rarely ever left comments but I'd like to thank you for your work, good job Colby. Wish I could say I'm looking forward to the conclusion but to all things comes an end :)
