This page is so sad! Sang's expression in the last panel is perfect - I want to give him a hug. I still hold firm to the belief that Bactine will pull through somehow.

looks like our hope was false - basa! it is more realistic with main characters that we love dying, but...it is so unfair to sangwine who had already lost his entire family. well, we'll see who xylic is soon enough and that should help on that score, but i was hoping bactine could still be saved. it's only natural to blame oneself in these situations - doesn't matter if it's right or wrong, it just is.

*sad* Poor Bactine... I really liked her... I hope that can stay 'like' but... and Sang should NOT have just left! That's just stupid, blaming himself. If he had left, who's to say she wouldn't have died some other way?

i guess its not hope. well, i guess that their love wouldnt have, and now, will never work. unless there's some ridiculous elf kinda thing that is gonna save the day. Personally, i hope not. Im a sucker for the bad guys winning even if its only slightly so. That's why i love Darken. btw, check it out in the "Linkage" section up there under PAGES. Go Webcomics!

Hmm, I thought that Hope could only make that particular trick work with members of the royal family. You know, what with be bonded to House Schloeffel and all that.
