Haha – so true! I think I would react more to a person getting shot, then to a person getting stabbed, since I am so used to swords, but not to guns. Also… I don't wear earrings, so I did react more strongly to the Bactine's deaths… Twice.

Oh there is an effect! It's nice when you take the special-effects as part of the realism, but… Then again, maybe I play too many RPGs
