Still, as a father it was his duty to comfort Fang–no matter how many years it took, and no matter how “angsty” his son was. He's the dad. I'm sorry, that means you hang around your kid even when–no, especially when–they're not feeling so hot. I figure he did his best, and because of that, Fang could have gotten over it. Probably. However, he chose not to, and when he grew up and really could have let it slide, he chose to remain angry. So in that sense, you're correct. He messed himself over. I just don't think he did it when they were kids.

Omake Idea: the Cigar Hermit, Stump, a One-Legged-Zombie-Tailor, and the Disgruntled Leprachaun playing cards! We haven't seen those guys in ages…

Okay, not necessarily playing cards, but I'd love to see the Cigar Hermit, the Krackon, and the Disgruntled Leprachaun show up again.
