I was about to put up a comment going OMG THEY'RE XYLIC'S PARENTS but then I realized that. And also, though she's an immortal fairy Hope is only about as old as Sangwine, I think. That or... she was like in the form of a little kid long before he was born. Because it shows them being little kids together.
