Hi- I've been commenting for a while as Kelsey and just registered. I was wondering- would it be all right by you if I use this sneakity James as my picture? I only use Disqus for this website, but am more than happy to find something else to put there if you'd prefer.

Also, I only JUST noticed how huge the castle wall is in the third panel.

I love this font. Come on, it's comic font! Everyone uses this! I don't think font matters as much as the drawings do. And your drawings are always awesome.

like the classic comic font, agree that 'dafont' is da bomb, and cannot wait to see what's up with james and hope! but i do hope they're not xylic's parents. no way. because i still want xylic to hook up with hope!

I thought that too, but Xylic knew his dad and his dad died if I'm not very much mistaken. I was about to put up a comment going OMG THEY'RE XYLIC'S PARENTS but then I realized that. And also, though she's an immortal fairy Hope is only about as old as Sangwine, I think. That or... she was like in the form of a little kid long before he was born. Because it shows them being little kids together. Then again elves and fairies and all of those peoples probably age slower than humans, duh. *brainfreeze*

Ooh, like the new font. It's clean and peerrrty. Much easier to read. :3 Uh-oh ,does this mean you have to go back through and update all the old ones? That'd be such a huge project. o_o

I might replace some of them but I doubt all of them. Way too big of a project. We'll see, though.

It's odd, but his surprised face is really sort of... cute. I like the way his color scheme is the same basically in human and goose form.

And is it just me, but is Hope acting like she knows James from before he was a goose? And I just remembered that they picked up Hope and James at the same place, the Giant's castle. *doh* It was so long ago that I'd forgotten. Which makes me think that James was probably stationed there to watch Hope in case she tried to escape. How interesting...

I for one didn't even register the font change until I saw the note on it. Flipping back I would agree, yes, it is an easier read, but since I never minded the old one it doesn't really make much difference either way to me. So I'm glad you went ahead and changed it, since it sounds like it makes you happy.

And yes, James is totally Sexy McEvilPants. Have we seen his eleven form before or is this his first dastardly appearance as not-goose? And how the heck did HE lay, what was it, a fools gold egg? HE? Hmmm....

He discusses the egg-laying in his one other James-not-Goose appearance, wherever that is. Chapter 12 maybe.

I can't get the hang of the new font @_@ I'm so used to the old one that when you changed it in the last page I was momentarily bewildered and confused. It feels more polished and professional but I also feel it looses some of the casual joviality the old font had. Really depends on the kind of theme you are aiming for now.

As an off note, I think this font is /too/ sombre for LinT which has always been to me about the whimsical humour. This typeface suits comics along the lines of Inverloch where they take themselves too seriously.

Did not mean to spout off an essay about typography but 'tis my humble opinion.

Which is one of the best places on the web to look for quality free fonts. I would probably choose something along the lines of Gosmick Sans or Ventura Edding (although the last one is an allcaps which is a shame).

Awww, you'll get used to it in a few weeks and will never think of it again... except for the fact that it's way easier to read. I'm basically aiming for something that's more pleasant to read. The other font was just a pain in the eyes, whimsical or not.

I find it funny to see a goose sneaking around...no matter who the goose is.

Hm, I don't mind the new font, prefer it not all-caps, but it's a lot clearer.

Well the goose isn't hard to find. She has an aerial shot and he's just wandering in the palace gardens. It's just that nobody else cares what the goose does because he's so disregarded.

No one ever suspects the goose!

Glad you cleared that up, I had this crazy theory where James was Xylics Father and Hope was his Mother! I thought maybe he was adopted and never knew... hence Hope knowing who he was and being so affectionate too him.
