Alright. I gotta ask because I'm way too curious. Why are Zedwig's cheeks always so flushed and blushed--or watever--if he is supposedly sick enough to die from his magic? Or at least, he will be like that again. Isnt a red cheek supposed to be a sign of vitality. Anyway... Just thought i'd bring that up... (P.S. Make zedwig completely pale and he'll be a cool ghoul--yay)

His skin tone is red, and Bactine just healed him. He's like a new pup. (Not to mention that he's very unhappy killing all his friends, yeah?)

Yeah he's one of those people with a flushed complexion. You know the type. Fair skin, always has rosy cheeks, blushes easily.

When I read your comic it makes me ache desperately to start one of my own, but then I just worry that I'm not up to it. So few people reach page 20, let alone FOUR HUNDRED!!

Your skilll with expressions is awesome. I can appreciate how hard it is to do the subtle ones - instead of making everyone look maniacally happy, extremely depressed, grumpy, and, you know, etc. Or resorting to *shudders* chibis. Your artwork is awesome. Some of the pictures on your deviantart really just make one's breath catch. Also Derf is the coolest. It's not at all easy to draw characters that aren't just conventionally pretty.

What we'll miss about Brenge is his eyebrows... What we'll miss about Kelneth is his dreamy hair.

So did they actually know that the Goose's name was James? I don't remember them calling him anything but 'Goose'. But guess Hope can get that sort of stuff out of a person.

NOOO!!! Kelneth is gone. He was my favorite! He had the most awesome hair in the entire comic. =( But! The colors in this comic have been getting brighter, more detailed, clearer, and more vibrant and gorgeous by the day! Wonderful job!

I wonder if Zedwig let loose that bit about James in a convoluted way of backstabbing Fang. Surely he knew James was with them. :-)

Colby, you're just getting better and better. I wasn't so sad for Kelneth, but that's probably because I've been expecting him to die since the 17th.

I reread all of Lint last week, and got so into it again! I love this so much, and Zedwig... *tear* I don't know whether to not like him, or like him, or just feel completely sorry for him...

It would be interesting if Hope knew who James was beforehand....Okay, NOW I shall mourn over the loss of Kelneth. Oh, the pain of hot elves slowly getting killed off by eachother. Granted, if I had to rate their prettiness, Zedwig wins out.

Okay, Derg, one of the single most awesome characters (then again aren't they all?) and woot for the return of Xylic and Hope. Xylic's rogueish good looks balances out the hotness of Zedwig's deranged pretty boy angst.

i do not understand zedwig's actions at all. is the earring so powerful still on him? i am not so sad about kelneth as i would have thought, perhaps because it could have been worse and i'm more concerned about bactine. i wouldn't want to be james when hope gets hold of him!

Yes, the earring is still in control of him, however he isn't like a robot. Fang tells him what to do, but he doesn't tell him exactly how to do it. Zedwig's actions are a combination of crazy, desperation, and rapidly failing hope.

And that... that is -soo- awesome.

The colors are beautiful, and each page of this comic just gets better and better in terms of depth of expression of each of the characters. In the last page, it was the last panel I found most powerful, but here it's the third panel I for some reason just LOVE. All the self-hatred, shame, sadness, and even the "Hey! No fair seeing through what I was doing!" are all in there. Also, yay! Zylic (and Hope) are back!

I can't describe how awesome it is when a reader picks up on all the things I was hoping to convey in an expression. Thanks for noticing!

Also, I agree, yay for getting to draw Hope and Xylic again!
