I think Fang is relaoding there....hehe, Fang and Sang. Anyways. Yeah, the good guys are pissy and its awesome! The backgrounds are nice (seriously, good attention to detail in the two last panels with the sun rising and then finally being all shiney.

And Fang...he just looks stressed. He probably didn't have much downtime in between the hostile takeover bit and fixing all the holes in his wonderful scheme. It must suck for anybody to watch their hard work unravel before their eyes, eh?

And when is that bloody pendant gonna get put into play?? I wanna know! It's urking me!

Technically, isn't Sang making the same mistake again by monologuing?

Well he can't just walk up and stab him in the back! Where's the story in THAT? XD

Besides, it would deprive everyone the pleasure of Fang's gamut of angsty reactionary faces.

This page actually makes me want to shoo Sangwine away. I mean... just look at Fang in the third panel! You cannot have murderous intent after that!

*sighs* I'm a sucker for bad guys. Half the time, it means I get pissed with the way things end, yet love it all the same. XD

Agh I totally agree with the sucker-for-bad-guys thing. And you always sort of knew Sangwine would win, so what's the point in rooting for him? Fang's the one that needs it. -_-

1) This page is beautiful
2) Every single page for the past 100 pages has been a cliffhanger, making me love this story even more.
3) Relatively sure 2nd thing Sangwine did after he probably made sure Bactine was alive was take out the Tide-To-Go pen he keeps on himself at all times.

Grin I love #3... selfishly I hope that #4 was give her a little kiss after all she deserves it!!

It took me 24 hours to even begin to word a reaction to this awesome page ...
And all I came up with was "Beautiful."
I'm with everyone else, really - love the franticly unkempt appearance of Fang as soon as he thinks he's alone, love the suave strength of Sangwine's posture, love the "Oh, you done it now!" look in Bactine's eyes. And yes, love how they are operating together now. That's beautiful, too.

Great page! Very dramatic, especially the last panel. Gotta say I love Sangwine in the next-to-last panel though... Just one thing puzzles me - Bactine looked obviously drawn and baggy-eyed before, but now she looks all smooth and young again. Is this just the effect of a wider-shot view or should we read something into it??

I think it's the wider shot view, you can still see a darker tint of grey under her eyes to give it a bag effect.

And she looks badass. Luff.

I think also that she is recovering though. I mean, when she takes the wounds from someone else, she then ...gets rid of it. Like in the Bactine Gallagher story, when she heals Xylic.

Whoo-hoo! He rises with the sun--yay, Sangwine! Awesome tableau with that last panel, Bactine's vicious presence is a nice touch, and now it finally feels like it's come to the final showdown--and Fang looks so frantic on the other side. He's got to be going a little crazy, trying to control Zedwig (I assume that's why he's holding his hand to his head) and get over his reluctance to fire--'failure to load can have consequences'.

You just made me think of Avatar, that moment when Zuko says something to the tune of "You rise with the moon. I rise with the sun." (only much more dramatic and kickass)

I like how you made all of Fang's hair lines kind of scruffy and unkempt, whereas, on Sangwine, everything is in place and smooth. :-)
