Speaking of love, I loved making this page! Some of you might not love the outcome, but artwise, this was funner than fun to do. I just want to draw Zedwig 24/7.

In book news, I’m about 35% done with redoing Book One in high res with additional commentary for each page. It’s a big job, but should be well worth it in the end! Also I’m going to be setting up a store for the new books and bookmarks in the next few weeks. Now to figure out how all that works!

Mostly, I’m just having a lot of fun. Thanks for reading, everyone :)

    regarding book 1, is it going to be the original art or have you redone some pages? your art now is, shall we say, MUCH improved from the early pages of lint…maybe you could postpone book 1 until you're done with lint so that it could be redone? i do like the cover you've added, but it doesn't fit the rest of the series. what birds know is a sweet comic you might like which is now on semi-hiatus while they re-draw the beginning. http://fribergthorelli.karrey.com/wbk/ – i didn't like it so much when earthsong did that, because she still hasn't caught up to adding brand new pages, soon i hope, but it took her 2 years or so to redraw – that's more than it's worth, when you could just move on to a new project. but i think lint is awesome – and should get out there in bookstores even. if dreamer can be picked up by idw, why not lint?

    Hm… I wouldn't want to see the early days of Lint redrawn… or if there's ever a re-do, I wouldn't want the originals to disappear. The progression of people's art style is one of the coolest things about webcomics… heck, it's a catalog of exactly how far one has come as an artist. Look at Lint, look at Cat Legend, look at The War of Winds… the growth is astonishing.

    I agree.. I greatly miss the lightheartedness of those early pages. :) Not that I'm not enjoying the present story… still.. XD

    Yes, there are no plans to ever redraw any of the early pages. Never. I'm of the philosophy that one can never recapture a moment in time, and that's what those pages are; moments in time. I'm not the same person I was seven years ago.

    Just sorta wants to make you scream NOOOO but at least they are snuggling at that moment? lol I had to go back and re-read the beginnings of Lint… I absolutely have to agree… from start to present – TERRIFIC job :)
