I reckon Zedwig is a really strong character- I mean, after all Fang's put him through he's only slightly unhinged, still stands up to Fang and is *still* a nice guy too.

I don't think it's mental, exactly. More like a spiritual thing. Which is why everyone has died so far. It's beyond the physical, and mental is slightly physical, so that can't be ALL it. That's my guess. Whether Batine can heal mental instability or not, that IS an interesting question . . .

Of course, there's no doubt Zedwig has a LITTLE mental instability. He's kind of crazy . . . but I think the 'sickness' Bactine is referrring to is the self-destruction caused by the destructive magicks Zedwig has performed.

Needless to say, yours is a very thought-provoking comment. I love those.

Zegwig's face in panel 4 is nom nom nom 8D! He looks strangely formidable....which coupled with his gentle personality, gives me chills. He looks like someone who could thoroughly kick your ass, he just chooses not to 8D!

Well, I've made it thru the enormous archive for this comic! Lovely. It's a treat to see the artist develope and blossom as the pages go by. This kind of dedication given to a web comic is rare indeed. Truly apperant that this is an obsession of love.....I mean that in a good way. :) As for the story, I must say that the most alluring thing about the story for me is the characters themselves. Each has a great dimension developed into their character. Attention is given in great detail, even to the characters that play the evil part. I love the dynamics the play between our team of adventurers and how they have become a cohesive unit. Truly lovely. I have my favorites, but yet I have a fondness for several of the characters. Well done and shall look forward to seeing more.

AH! I swear, this comic can't update fast enough. I admit it, I am shamelessly hooked on this story. This page is almost more sad than suspenseful. I love how you can swing the mood of the comic from page to page!!

Ok, got it. Bactine, as soon as you have a hand on Zedwig, fry him. He'll be much happier that way. Then all magic restraints will be gone. Then better zap Fang so he doesn't kill you. Then heal Sanguine. It's ok, you'll justify it to yourself later....
