My friend got me addicted to this comic and to several others on the links page as a result... *shakes fist indignantly*.... keep up the good work, addictive though it may be :-P

*Gaspity* This is so dramatic! I love your shiny, magicky effects. I know perfectly well why Fang stepped in -he knows Zedwig is *not* weak and *can* fight him, and is afraid he will if Bactine encourages him.

Please, shoot Sangwine again, oh Emperor!

I need to be stopped. Seriously, I'm scaring myself. Because. I keep. Coming. Back. Every flipping two hours! Like some sort of crazed, listless zombie HAMSTER or something. O_x

Yeah, I wasn't trying o guilt trip either. I just had to confess my madness. XD I can understand how hard it is to make and update such a beautiful comic AND have a life.

Yes, I heartily agree. Especially when the next strip is so full of Sangwine's blood splatter. That sort of thing is hard to draw. ;)

I feel your pain. I'm doing the exact same thing. It makes you wonder if you have no life...

We should start a Save the Zedwigs Foundation. If we donate enough, maybe we can get one of the other characters to give Zedwig a big hug, a cupof cocoa, and a good solid psychiatrist.

I fully expect Al'bert to make his reappearance here, skewer Fang, release Zedwig, and ride off into the sunrise with Bactine.
Sangwine? Who's Sangwine? :P Then again, I may be expecting a little too much of the possibly dead elf. Scene change?

But, failing all that, I'd quite like to see Bactine laugh in Fang's face for his mini-monologue.

(I also keep thinking that Fang says "Arrrgh!" in the third to last panel. Then in the second to last panel he says "Friends? People keep mentioning them. Are they important?" And in the last panel "Maybe it's a sort of souffle...")

Your replacements for the actual lines made me giggle.

"the [blank] is mine! It belongs to me!"
slightly reminiscent of another angsty fantasy character, although on the other side of that protagonist/antagonist coin ...
and rats -- I was hoping that Bactine had gotten his earring. Guess it was too much to hope for. Can't wait for the next page! (and the page after that, and the page after that ...)

Zedwig second and third panels: Awe...I just want to snuggle him and feed him a good meal. Poor guy. Sendz him to me. I vill take good care of him...

My first thought was to squee over Fang defending Zedwig. Then I realized by stepping in Fang stops Bactine from inciting Zedwig(who was able to fight Fang earlier) and makes Zedwig feel a little guilty because Fang is taking the blame that Zedwig (angsty boy that he is) feels, at least partially, responsible.
So I say Fang is yet again playing everyone... or maybe I just need a nap.(Does any of this make sense?)

Haha, I'm with ya. I have to say it's really surprising me to see everyone going "aww, so sweet!" when Fang's the guy who drove Zedwig over the edge in the first place. Even if his conscience is kicking in now (which I seriously doubted even before his last comment) I'd say it's a little late.

I was also not expecting "Aw sweet" over Fang's actions, although he is showing a glimpse of some of his very rare soft spots here.

So he is showing softn moment here. I thought it was just an "Oh ****! I have to distract them before I'm the one pinned to the wall (again)" moment.

I'd call it being angsty rather than soft. He's a little worn down at the moment, as he's been 1) up all night, 2) knocked against the wall, 3) nearly electrocuted, and 4) kicked in the nards. Along with everything else.

For some reason it dosen't surprise me you laughed evilly at this...

Awww.... So sweet... Sorry. ^_^; I know he's a crazed man who's overtaken the kingdom and all...but that was so cute the way he defended Zedwig. XD So cute!

I would imagine you're having an issue where your cookies are messed up and you just need to reload or empty your cache or (insert other technical jargon about caches and cookes here). There's no issue on this end.

Though, the last panels make me detest Fangline more then I already do. -^_^-

I dunnooooooo... seems to me like Fang could now be playing to Bactine's tendency to get worked up. Even if he really is regretful, and even if he really does despise her... I totally would not put it past him to start trying to orchestrate the truths and consequently the entire scene to his advantage.

Oh so suddenly Fang has enough honor to say Zedwig is not to blame? Maybe Fang feels just the tiniest poke of his conscience.

That last line sounds ominous for Sangwine's future...

Wow, how interesting that Fang puts such an emphasis on the blame being his and not Zedwig's. He's so protective of him, even when there's no one around who can actually physically assault him. By the way, I finally get the last part of the last installment! xD I totally didn't get that she was reaching for his earring. That makes a lot more sense now. :D

And it's funny, but I feel that here, Fang is showing all his softer sides, which is weird I guess. But he shows his affection for Zedwig and his previous affection for Al'bert. It's hard to just throw him off as a bad guy. I hope he doesn't die eventually. I kind of feel like he has to though... :(
