Thank you for your condolences! Fortunately after a few days's rest my hand recuperated swimmingly. I'm still trying to figure out what happened to it, exactly.

Riverfox: I do pretty much everything. Perform, accompany, teach. Mostly accompany because that's my favorite.

Well, I certainly hope you don't get a hand injury, then, as I and the state of Texas would rather not be murdered ignominiously. =)
Seriously, though, I really hope you feel better. I honestly can sympathize, in a way; while I have never injured my hand, I have gotten a very nasty rash all over my writing/drawing hand, and nearly went insane from not being able to properly hold a pencil or type with ease for about two weeks. I have prayed that it will improve. (No typo, I really just prayed that your hand would get better and the move would go well; I don't want to say I will and then accidentally forget about it later, like I sometimes do. =) )
And I did not know you were a pianist! ^^ That is very cool. Do you play in concert, or teach, or something else? And I hope that your family is getting through the move okay.

I am sadness. I hope your hand gets better soon. I dunno what would be best, as I'm a writer who has never really hurt my HAND before. I've gotten my arm plenty of times, but…

But, yeah, being a writer/pianist/artist (though I'm still working on the latter) with an injured hand is horrible. It's happened more than once to me.

Get your hand better before you draw anymore. I would prefer you well than in pain.
